Short and sweet for today folks! A snapshot of the utter craziness at the Haus Tambaran just got to a whole new level! Forget all other feats of craziness that the Sandaun Sniper together with his Pangia Warrior have managed …this one takes the cake AND don’t worry you can eat it too!!!

1. Parliament ACCIDENTALLY met with enough numbers to form a quorum. Accidentally  because according to the Pangia Warrior, parliament was not meant to meet until 2pm not at 10am like they did (those naughty boys! They will be dealt with!).
2. The Governor General- His Excellency Sir Michael Ogio is making merry with Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II during her Jubilee celebrations, therefore Speaker of PNG Parliament Jeffrey Nape is Acting Governor General. Deputy Speaker Francis Marus is now ACTING speaker.
3. Acting Speaker Francis Marus accepts the Supreme Courts ruling that Sir Michael Somare is the legitimate Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea.
4. Somare is voted to have ‘forfeited’ his position on account of his missing 3 sittings in a row (he’s been back stabbed by the boys!)
5. *TADAAAAAAH* Bring out the trumpets because the office of the PM has been declared as vacant so the Sandaun Sniper is ACTING Prime Minister.
6. Alas the Pangia Warrior is not ready to leave his post as PM so he replies with the not 10am but at 2pm excuse. Tomorrow they will “rectify” that problem.
7. Parliament will elect new Prime Minister tomorrow (25 DAYS BEFORE POLLING IS SET TO BEGIN!!)
8. But only the GG can declare a vacancy in the top post....
