Weekly Update

Dear ACT NOW! member,

Over 100 emails have been send to the Chief Ombudsman asking him to investigate the Prime Minister, Speaker of Parliament and Leader of the House for undermining our democracy.

This is a great effort - but we would still like to double the number of emails to 200 if we can.

If you have not sent your email yet please ACT NOW!  - it really is quick and easy to email the Chief Ombudsman.

There have been some great blog articles and stories posted on your ACT NOW! website this week and all relate to the ACT NOW! campaigns to defend our democracy and stop the stealing:

Elsewhere on the internet, interesting questions are being asked about the Chairman of the Central Supply and Tenders Board, Brian Kimmins;  whether Transparency International should be sharing an anti-corruption stage with Finance Minister Peter O'Neill; and when those responsible for the Finance Department fraud will face justice

These stories show that interest and debate about the theft of public money is alive and strong. They also show the important role of internet sites like pngexposed and pngblogs.

If you want to keep up with the latest news and and to have you say on what is happening then the ACT NOW! facebook page is a great place to check out.

With over 1,900 followers already, the discussions can be quite lively - so make sure you have a look.

Finally, we are always really keen to hear from you. Whether you want to share you story, offer suggestions on how we can improve the website or these newsletters or anything else, please contact us
