Do you all know that in PNG there are many intelligent men who are highly educated with university degrees, lawyers, accountants, doctors, mission-workers, village councellors, policemen, servicemen, school teachers, even politicians; and in fact many people in all walks of life still hit their wives?

 

These are educated men, but they are mere COWARDS. These men all use brute force by continuing to abuse the women in their family/relatives in both the urban and rural/village community environment. Research show that it is not only men in the lower classes of society but highly intelligent men in the middle & upper-classes of society are some of the worst serial wive/female abusers in any country; not just in PNG. But in PNG as in many developing countries, many men still hit their wives and badly abuse the female members in their family.

I appeal to all PNG men in 2011 that we must do everything possible in whatever way we can to STOP VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMAN.

This must start from the government down to the individual family home to ensure there is no violence in families/home. We must teach our sons (& daughters) that it is not normal, and is a crime in our country for men to hit/abuse our womenfolk with any forms of violence.

It is time, PNG must sets the pace in the Pacific. 

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN MUST STOP! 

This has to stop now starting in 2011.

So please do your part if you are a PNG men to always remember that: A REAL MAN NEVER HITS A WOMAN!
