Membership is open to anyone who wants to get involved in building a better PNG. Individual members identities are confidential unless they choose to disclose them.

ACT NOW! approaches issues differently in an attempt to create an impact and fill a gap where the voices of ordinary people are not being heard. ACT NOW! will use the internet and social networking tools to connect people in a new way. This will not replicate the work of other organisations but compliment and add value to what they are doing.

ACT NOW! was set up by a group of people concerned about the current situation in PNG and who believe our National Goals and Directive Principles provide important guidance on how we can build a better PNG.

Most of the work of ACT NOW! is done by its members and other volunteers.

The Program Manager - who is the only full time staff member.

ACT NOW! is completely independent and is not affiliated with any other organization (government or non-government) or any political party.

ACT NOW will present the views of its members to government, politicians, academics and anyone else who is interested through normal established communication channels.

ACT NOW! is funded by voluntary donations - you can donate now through the website if you are able to assist.

ACT NOW! has been registered as a not for profit organization. It does not have a Constitution but is governed by the terms of the Companies Act of PNG.
